Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2A-524","heading":"Lessor's right to identify goods to lease contract","body":"LESSOR'S RIGHT TO IDENTIFY GOODS TO LEASE CONTRACT\n\n(1) After default by the lessee under the lease contract of the\n\ntype described in either subsection (1) of Section 2A-523 of this\n\ntitle or paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of Section 2A-523 of this\n\ntitle, or, if agreed, after other default by the lessee, the lessor\n\nmay:\n\n(a) identify to the lease contract conforming goods not\n\nalready identified if at the time the lessor learned\n\nof the default they were in the lessor's or the\n\nsupplier's possession or control; and\n\n(b) dispose of goods (subsection (1) of Section 2A-527 of\n\nthis title) that demonstrably have been intended for\n\nthe particular lease contract even though those goods\n\nare unfinished.\n\n(2) If the goods are unfinished, in the exercise of reasonable\n\ncommercial judgment for the purposes of avoiding loss and of\n\neffective realization, an aggrieved lessor or the supplier may\n\neither complete manufacture and wholly identify the goods to the\n\nlease contract or cease manufacture and lease, sell, or otherwise\n\ndispose of the goods for scrap or salvage value or proceed in any\n\nother reasonable manner.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"afd0342653326a0502de3ffd152ae9a5424733865da9c6afcfc9c258da70bd5e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-523","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-525"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
