Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-4A-301","heading":"Execution and execution date","body":"EXECUTION AND EXECUTION DATE\n\n(a) A payment order is \"executed\" by the receiving bank when it\n\nissues a payment order intended to carry out the payment order\n\nreceived by the bank. A payment order received by the beneficiary's\n\nbank can be accepted but cannot be executed.\n\n(b) \"Execution date\" of a payment order means the day on which\n\nthe receiving bank may properly issue a payment order in execution\n\nof the sender's order. The execution date may be determined by\n\ninstruction of the sender but cannot be earlier than the day the\n\norder is received and, unless otherwise determined, is the day the\n\norder is received.
