Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-4A-304","heading":"Duty of sender to report erroneously executed payment","body":"order.\n\nDUTY OF SENDER TO REPORT ERRONEOUSLY EXECUTED PAYMENT ORDER\n\nIf the sender of a payment order that is erroneously executed as\n\nstated in Section 23 of this act receives notification from the\n\nreceiving bank that the order was executed or that the sender's\n\naccount was debited with respect to the order, the sender has a duty\n\nto exercise ordinary care to determine, on the basis of information\n\navailable to the sender, that the order was erroneously executed and\n\nto notify the bank of the relevant facts within a reasonable time\n\nnot exceeding ninety (90) days after the notification from the bank\n\nwas received by the sender. If the sender fails to perform that\n\nduty, the bank is not obliged to pay interest on any amount\n\nrefundable to the sender under subsection (d) of Section 27 of this\n\nact for the period before the bank learns of the execution error.\n\nThe bank is not entitled to any recovery from the sender on account\n\nof a failure by the sender to perform the duty stated in this\n\nsection.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"547d46d43037d6ee48def152108d91b9bcc71a661d97956b86f897ee39688460","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-4a-303","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-4a-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
