Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-7-602","heading":"Judicial process against goods covered by negotiable","body":"document of title.\n\nJudicial Process Against Goods Covered by Negotiable Document of\n\nTitle.\n\nUnless a document of title was originally issued upon delivery\n\nof the goods by a person that did not have power to dispose of them,\n\na lien does not attach by virtue of any judicial process to goods in\n\nthe possession of a bailee for which a negotiable document of title\n\nis outstanding unless possession or control of the document is first\n\nsurrendered to the bailee or the document’s negotiation enjoined.\n\nThe bailee may not be compelled to deliver the goods pursuant to\n\nprocess until possession or control of the document is surrendered\n\nto the bailee or to the court.
