Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-8-307","heading":"Purchaser's Right to Requisites for Registration of","body":"Transfer.\n\nPurchaser's Right to Requisites for Registration of Transfer.\n\nUnless otherwise agreed, the transferor of a security on due\n\ndemand shall supply the purchaser with proof of authority to\n\ntransfer or with any other requisite necessary to obtain\n\nregistration of the transfer of the security, but if the transfer is\n\nnot for value, a transferor need not comply unless the purchaser\n\npays the necessary expenses.
