This act does not affect an action or proceeding commenced\n\nbefore this act takes effect.\n\nB. If a security interest in a security is perfected before\n\nthis act takes effect, and the action by which the security interest\n\nwas perfected would suffice to perfect a security interest under\n\nthis act, no further action is required to continue perfection. If\n\na security interest in a security is perfected before this act takes\n\neffect but the action by which the security interest was perfected\n\nwould not suffice to perfect a security interest under this act, the\n\nsecurity interest remains perfected for a period of four months\n\nafter the effective date and continues perfected thereafter if\n\nappropriate action to perfect under this act is taken within that\n\nperiod.
