Stat. tit. 13, § 13-117","heading":"Apportionment according to distance","body":"If a consignee voluntarily receives freight at a place short of\n\nthe one appointed for delivery, the carrier is entitled to a just\n\nproportion of the freightage, according to distance. If the\n\ncarrier, being ready and willing, offers to complete the transit, he\n\nis entitled to the full freightage.
