Upon the issuance of an order pursuant to the provisions of\n\nSection 4 of this act, a provider of wire or electronic\n\ncommunication service, landlord, custodian or other person shall\n\nfurnish forthwith all information, facilities and technical\n\nassistance necessary to accomplish the installation of the pen\n\nregister with a minimum of interference with the services provided,\n\nif such assistance is directed by a court order as provided in\n\nSection 4 of this act.\n\nB. Upon the issuance of an order pursuant to the provisions of\n\nSection 4 of this act for a trap and trace device, a provider of a\n\nwire or electronic communication service, landlord, custodian or\n\nother person shall install such trap and trace device forthwith on\n\nthe appropriate line and shall furnish such person all additional\n\ninformation, facilities and technical assistance including\n\ninstallation and operation of the device unobtrusively and with a\n\nminimum of interference with the services provided, if such\n\ninstallation and assistance is directed by a court order as provided\n\nin Section 4 of this act. Unless otherwise ordered by the court,\n\nthe results of the trap and trace device shall be furnished at\n\nreasonable intervals during regular business hours for the duration\n\nof the order.\n\nC. A provider of a wire or electronic communication service,\n\nlandlord, custodian or other person who furnishes facilities or\n\ntechnical assistance pursuant to this section shall be reasonably\n\ncompensated for any reasonable expenses incurred in providing such\n\nfacilities and assistance.\n\nD. No cause of action shall lie in any court against any\n\nprovider of a wire or electronic communication service, its\n\nofficers, employees, agents or other specified persons for providing\n\ninformation, facilities or assistance in accordance with the terms\n\nof a court order under this act.\n\nE.
