Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-1-201A","heading":"Extraterritorial application","body":"With respect to a consumer credit sale or consumer loan to which\n\nthis Code does not otherwise apply by reason of Section 1-201, if,\n\npursuant to a solicitation relating to a consumer credit sale or\n\nloan received in this state, a person who is a resident of this\n\nstate sends a signed writing evidencing the obligation or offer of\n\nthe person to a creditor in another state, and the person receives\n\nthe goods or services purchased or the cash proceeds of the loan in\n\nthis state:\n\n1. The creditor may not contract for or receive charges\n\nexceeding those permitted by this Code, and such charges as do\n\nexceed those permitted are excess charges for purposes of Sections\n\n5-202 (3) and (4) and 6-113 of the Code and such sections shall\n\napply as though the consumer credit sale or consumer loan were made\n\nin this state; and\n\n2.
