Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-2-106","heading":"Definition: \"Consumer lease\"","body":"(1) \"Consumer lease\" means a lease of goods\n\n(a) which a lessor regularly engaged in the business of\n\nleasing makes to a person, other than an organization,\n\nwho takes under the lease primarily for a personal,\n\nfamily or household purpose;\n\n(b) in which the amount payable under the lease does not\n\nexceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00). The\n\ndollar amount in this paragraph shall be adjusted\n\nannually as indicated by the Consumer Financial\n\nProtection Bureau by the annual percentage increase in\n\nthe Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and\n\nClerical Workers, as published by the Bureau of Labor\n\nStatistics, rounded to the nearest multiple of One\n\nHundred Dollars ($100.00) or One Thousand Dollars\n\n($1,000.00) as applicable; and\n\n(c) which is for a term exceeding four (4) months.\n\n(2) \"Consumer lease\" does not include a lease made pursuant to\n\na lender credit card or similar arrangement.","path":["OK Code","Title 14A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os14A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f3cf1b140a3b42a180b12a3d61554787b12380a2b5c71f656d67797be9de8bd5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-2-105","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-2-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
