Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-2-109","heading":"Definition: \"Credit service charge\"","body":"\"Credit service charge\" means a finance charge composed of the\n\nsum of\n\n(1) all charges payable directly or indirectly by the buyer and\n\nimposed directly or indirectly by the seller as an incident to the\n\nextension of credit, including any of the following types of charges\n\nwhich are applicable: time price differential, service, carrying or\n\nother charge, however denominated, premium or other charge for any\n\nguarantee or insurance protecting the seller against the buyer's\n\ndefault or other credit loss; and\n\n(2) charges incurred for investigating the collateral or credit\n\nworthiness of the buyer or for commissions or brokerage for\n\nobtaining the credit, irrespective of the person to whom the charges\n\nare paid or payable, unless the seller had no notice of the charges\n\nwhen the credit was granted.
