Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-2-112","heading":"Sale of motor vehicles - Taking security in other","body":"vehicles.\n\nA seller in a consumer credit sale of a motor vehicle may secure\n\nthe debt arising from the sale by contracting for a security\n\ninterest in any other motor vehicle used for the purpose of\n\ntransportation of persons or property, as well as the motor vehicle\n\nwhich is the subject of the sale. Provided, further, that the\n\namount of the debt secured by property other than the motor vehicle\n\nwhich is the subject of the sale shall be clearly set forth and when\n\nthe total debt is reduced to an amount equal to or less than the\n\namount secured by the motor vehicle which is the subject of the\n\nsale, a release of the security agreement as to such \"other vehicle\"\n\nwill be furnished to the debtor upon request but such partial\n\nrelease shall not impair the security interest on the motor vehicle\n\nwhich was the subject of the sale.
