Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-2-311","heading":"Consumer leases","body":"With respect to a consumer lease the lessor shall give to the\n\nlessee the following information:\n\n(1) brief description or identification of the personal\n\nproperty leased;\n\n(2) amount of any payment required at the inception of the\n\nlease;\n\n(3) amount paid or payable for official fees, registration,\n\ncertificate of title, or license fees or taxes;\n\n(4) amount of other charges not included in the periodic\n\npayments and a brief description of the charges;\n\n(5) brief description of insurance to be provided or paid for\n\nby the lessor or required of the lessee, including the types and\n\namounts of the coverages and costs;\n\n(6) number of periodic payments, the amount of each payment,\n\nthe due date of the first payment, the due dates of subsequent\n\npayments or interval between payments, and the total amount payable\n\nby the lessee;\n\n(7) statement of the conditions under which the lessee or\n\nlessor may terminate the lease prior to the end of the term and the\n\namount or method of determining any penalty or other charge for\n\ndelinquency, default, late payments or early termination;\n\n(8) statements of the liabilities the lease imposes upon the\n\nlessee at the end of the term; whether or not the lessee has the\n\noption to purchase the leased property and at what price and time;\n\nthat the lessee shall be liable for the differential, if any,\n\nbetween the anticipated fair market value of the leased property and\n\nits appraised actual value at the termination of the lease if the\n\nlessee has such liability; of the fair market value of the property\n\nat the inception of the lease, the aggregate cost of the lease on\n\nexpiration, and the differential between them, where the lease\n\nprovides that the lessee shall be liable for the anticipated fair\n\nmarket value of the property on expiration of the lease; that the\n\nestimated residual value is a reasonable approximation of the\n\nanticipated actual fair market value of the property on lease\n\nexpiration where the lessee's liability on expiration of the lease\n\nis based on the estimated residual value of the property; and that\n\nthe lessee, if the lease has a residual value provision at its\n\ntermination, may obtain at his expense a professional appraisal of\n\nthe leased property by an independent third party agreed to by both\n\nparties which shall be final and binding on the parties;\n\n(9) statement identifying all express warranties and guarantees\n\nmade by the manufacturer or lessor with respect to the leased\n\nproperty and identifying the party responsible for maintaining or\n\nservicing the leased property together with a description of the\n\nresponsibility; and\n\n(10) description of any security interest held or to be retained\n\nby the lessor in connection with the lease and a clear\n\nidentification of the property to which it relates.","path":["OK Code","Title 14A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os14A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"af0fa04ff8f45df43ef54fdcc51ccd7672262781b762030f373b7725a45b825d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-2-310.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-2-313"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
