Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-2-411","heading":"Referral sales","body":"With respect to a consumer credit sale or consumer lease the\n\nseller or lessor may not give or offer to give a rebate or discount\n\nor otherwise pay or offer to pay value to the buyer or lessee as an\n\ninducement for a sale or lease in consideration of his giving to the\n\nseller or lessor the names of prospective purchasers or lessees, or\n\notherwise aiding the seller or lessor in making a sale or lease to\n\nanother person, if the earning of the rebate, discount or other\n\nvalue is contingent upon the occurrence of an event subsequent to\n\nthe time the buyer or lessee agrees to buy or lease.
