Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-3-106","heading":"Definition: \"Loan\"","body":"(1) \"Loan\" includes\n\n(a) the creation of debt by the lender's payment of or\n\nagreement to pay money to the debtor or to a third\n\nparty for the account of the debtor;\n\n(b) the creation of debt by a credit to an account with\n\nthe lender upon which the debtor is entitled to draw\n\nimmediately;\n\n(c) the creation of debt pursuant to a lender credit card\n\nor similar arrangement, except that the creation of\n\ndebt or the forbearance of debt arising from a sale or\n\nlease of goods or services pursuant to a lender credit\n\ncard shall be a \"loan\" only as to the issuer of such\n\ncard and not as to a seller nor a lessor nor any\n\nassignee of a seller's right to payment or lessor's\n\nright to payment; and\n\n(d) the forbearance of debt arising from a loan.\n\n(2) \"Loan\" does not include the creation of debt nor the\n\nforbearance of debt in connection with a sale or lease of goods or\n\nservices arising pursuant to a seller credit card as to the issuer\n\nof such card, nor a seller, a lessor or any assignee of a seller's\n\nor lessor's right to payment, nor otherwise.","path":["OK Code","Title 14A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os14A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"181639e87c02281919e28d5400550027bb64dc1e22f1eaf2ea4ee73a419ea605","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-3-105","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-3-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
