If a court finds that a consumer litigation funder has not\n\nbeen properly licensed pursuant to the Uniform Consumer Credit Code\n\nor has intentionally violated Sections 3-801 through 3-817 of the\n\nUniform Consumer Credit Code with respect to a litigation funding\n\ntransaction, the funder is entitled to recover the funded amount\n\nprovided to the consumer and may not receive any additional charges.\n\nB. In addition to any other applicable investigative and\n\nenforcement provisions of the Uniform Consumer Credit Code, the\n\nAdministrator may, after notice and hearing, impose an\n\nadministrative fine not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)\n\nagainst a consumer litigation funder who knowingly and willfully\n\nviolates or causes a violation of Sections 3-801 through 3-817 of\n\nthe Uniform Consumer Credit Code regarding consumer litigation\n\nfunding or a rule adopted thereto.","path":["OK Code","Title 14A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os14A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"58069604412282eaff29da5ba71698f110166b26fca4592f95b1d0666bbe287a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-3-814","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-3-816"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
