Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-5-301","heading":"Willful violations","body":"(1) A supervised lender who willfully makes charges in excess\n\nof those permitted by the provisions of the article on loans\n\n(Article 3) applying to supervised loans (Part 5) is guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor and upon conviction may be sentenced to pay a fine not\n\nexceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or to imprisonment not\n\nexceeding one (1) year, or both.\n\n(2) A person, other than a supervised financial organization,\n\nwho willfully engages in the business of making supervised loans\n\nwithout a license in violation of the provisions of this act\n\napplying to authority to make supervised loans (Section 3-502) is\n\nguilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be sentenced to pay\n\na fine not exceeding Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or to\n\nimprisonment not exceeding one (1) year, or both.\n\n(3) A person who willfully engages in the business of making\n\nconsumer credit sale, consumer leases, or consumer loans, or of\n\ntaking assignments of rights against debtors arising therefrom and\n\nundertakes direct collection of payments or enforcement of these\n\nrights, without complying with the provisions of this act concerning\n\nnotification (Section 6-202) or payment of fees (Section 6-203), is\n\nguilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be sentenced to pay\n\na fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.000).","path":["OK Code","Title 14A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os14A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c268edd6c9b86bd81bffe4c6cb43a6db93fa0d48e775f2f7ac12642a7fbd7d34","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-5-206","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-5-302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
