Stat. tit. 14A, § 14A-9-101","heading":"Time of taking effect - Provisions for transition","body":"(1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this act\n\ntakes effect at 12:01 a. m. on July 1, 1969.\n\n(2) To the extent appropriate to permit the Administrator to\n\nprepare for operation of this act when it takes effect and to act on\n\napplications for licenses to make supervised loans under this act\n\n(subsection (1) of Section 3-503), the part supervised loans (Part\n\n5) of the article on loans (Article 3) and the article on\n\nadministration (Article 6) takes effect upon enactment.\n\n(3) Transactions entered into before this act takes effect and\n\nthe rights, duties, and interests flowing from them thereafter may\n\nbe terminated, completed, consummated, or enforced as required or\n\npermitted by any statute, rule of law, or other law amended,\n\nrepealed, or modified by this act as though the repeal, amendment or\n\nmodification had not occurred, but this act applies to\n\n(a) refinancings, consolidations, and deferrals made after\n\nthis act takes effect of sales, leases, and loans\n\nwhenever made;\n\n(b) sales or loans made after this Act takes effect\n\npursuant to revolving charge accounts (Section 2-108)\n\nand revolving loan accounts (Section 3-108) entered\n\ninto, arranged, or contracted for before this act\n\ntakes effect; and\n\n(c) all credit transactions made before this act takes\n\neffect insofar as the article on remedies and\n\npenalties (Article 5) limits the remedies of\n\ncreditors.\n\n(4) With respect to revolving charge accounts (Section 2-108)\n\nand revolving loan accounts (Section 3-108) entered into, arranged,\n\nor contracted for before this Act takes effect, disclosure pursuant\n\nto the provisions on disclosure (Section 2-310 and Section 3-309),\n\nshall be made not later than thirty (30) days after this act takes\n\neffect.","path":["OK Code","Title 14A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os14A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"78945b701770c254dafc1d46865cc1c9e7ae9237de1c2869bf8034747fe69fb0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14a-14a-6-510","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-14-14-108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
