Service warranty associations licensed pursuant to the\n\nService Warranty Act are subject to periodic examination by the\n\nInsurance Commissioner, in the same manner and subject to the same\n\nterms and conditions that apply to insurers.\n\nB. The Commissioner is not required to examine an association\n\nthat has less than Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) in gross\n\nwritten provider fees as reflected in its most recent annual\n\nfinancial statement. The Commissioner may examine such an\n\nassociation if the Commissioner has reason to believe that the\n\nassociation may be in violation of the Service Warranty Act or is\n\notherwise in an unsound financial condition.
