Stat. tit. 15, § 15-218","heading":"Restraint of trade - Exception as to sale of goodwill","body":"One who sells the goodwill of a business may agree with the\n\nbuyer to refrain from carrying on a similar business within a\n\nspecified county and any county or counties contiguous thereto, or a\n\nspecified city or town or any part thereof, so long as the buyer, or\n\nany person deriving title to the goodwill from him carries on a like\n\nbusiness therein.
