Stat. tit. 15, § 15-676","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Sales Representatives Recognition Act:\n\n1. \"Commission\" means compensation accruing to a person for\n\npayment by another person, the rate of which is expressed as a\n\npercentage of the dollar amount of orders, sales or profits;\n\n2. \"Principal\" means any person who does not have a permanent\n\nor fixed place of business in this state and who does all of the\n\nfollowing:\n\na. Engages in the business of manufacturing, producing,\n\nimporting or distributing one or more products for\n\nsale to customers who purchase products for resale,\n\nb. Utilizes one or more sales representatives to solicit\n\nwholesale orders for those products, and\n\nc.
