Stat. tit. 15, § 15-721","heading":"Unsolicited goods - Receipt deemed unconditional gift -","body":"Injunctive relief.\n\nNo person, firm, partnership, association or corporation, or\n\nagent or employee thereof, shall, in any manner, or by any means,\n\noffer for sale in this state, goods, wares, or merchandise, where\n\nthe offer includes the voluntary and unsolicited sending of such\n\ngoods, wares, or merchandise not actually ordered or requested by\n\nthe recipient, either orally or in writing. The receipt of any such\n\ngoods, wares, or merchandise shall for all purposes be deemed an\n\nunconditional gift to the recipient who may use or dispose of such\n\ngoods, wares, or merchandise in any manner he sees fit without any\n\nobligation on his part to the sender. Provided, however, that where\n\nsolicited goods, wares or merchandise are delivered to the wrong\n\nperson by accident or by the mistake of the delivery or mail\n\nservice, such delivery shall not constitute an offer subject to this\n\nact, and provided that the provisions of this act shall not apply to\n\ngoods of equal or greater value and at no additional cost,\n\nsubstituted for goods ordered or solicited by the recipient.\n\nIf after any such receipt deemed to be an unconditional gift\n\nunder this section, the sender continues to send bill statements or\n\nrequests for payment with respect thereto, an action may be brought\n\nby the recipient to enjoin such conduct, in which action there may\n\nalso be awarded reasonable attorneys' fees and costs to the\n\nprevailing party.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a2253ce086809d05ef50f480db6d0232cb888513f53c0e936c7393ff3b281b92","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-72","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-722"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
