In addition to all other powers and duties as set forth in\n\nthis act, the Attorney General may do any or all of the following\n\nand upon request receive the assistance of any department, division\n\nor branch of state government:\n\n1. Coordinate consumer protection activities within state\n\ngovernment and maintain a liaison with federal and local governments\n\nconcerning the interests of consumers and businessmen;\n\n2. Study the operation of any existing or proposed law\n\naffecting the consumer interest and make recommendations to the\n\nGovernor and Legislature;\n\n3. Conduct studies, investigations and research in matters\n\naffecting consumer interest;\n\n4. Submit an annual report of activities to the legislative and\n\nexecutive branches of state government; and\n\n5. Do those things necessary to implement the purpose of this\n\nact.\n\nB.
