Stat. tit. 15, § 15-774","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. “Admission ticket” means evidence of a right of entry to a\n\nvenue or an entertainment event;\n\n2. “Event” means a concert, theatrical performance, sporting\n\nevent, exhibition, show, or other similar activity held in this\n\nstate;\n\n3. “Initial sale” means the first sale of an admission ticket\n\nby the ticket seller, which may include the distribution of\n\nadmission tickets under an agreement between the ticker seller and\n\nthe recipient;\n\n4. “Person” means any individual, partnership, corporation,\n\nlimited liability company, other organization, or any combination\n\nthereof;\n\n5. “Place of entertainment” means any privately or publicly\n\nowned or operated entertainment facility within this state, such as\n\na theater, stadium, museum, arena, park, racetrack, or other place\n\nwhere concerts, theatrical performances, sporting events,\n\nexhibitions, shows, or other similar activities are held and for\n\nwhich an entry fee is charged;\n\n6. “Presale” means a sale of admission tickets at or below the\n\nprice printed on the ticket by, or with the permission of, a ticket\n\nseller, prior to their release to the general public;\n\n7. “Promoter” means a person who organizes financing and\n\npublicity for an entertainment event; and\n\n8. “Ticket seller” means a person that makes admission tickets\n\navailable, directly or indirectly, at an initial presale or sale to\n\nthe general public, and may include an owner or operator of a place\n\nof entertainment, a sponsor or promoter of an event, a sports team\n\nparticipating in an event, a theater company, a musical group, or\n\nsimilar participant in an event, or an employee or agent of any such\n\nperson.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8453b44b7a660db072bb40dfbdbfc8e4cc9b67031d5ec22c1ad879a18b0e7b4f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-771","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-774.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
