Stat. tit. 15, § 15-775B.4","heading":"Notice of establishment of no-telemarketing-sales-call","body":"registry - Inclusion and removal of consumer names and numbers.\n\nThe Attorney General shall publicize notice to consumers of the\n\nestablishment of the no-telemarketing-sales-call registry and may\n\nprovide, upon request, explanatory information concerning the\n\nprovisions of the Telemarketer Restriction Act. Any consumer who\n\ndesires to be included in the listing shall notify the Attorney\n\nGeneral by calling a toll-free number provided by the Attorney\n\nGeneral, or in any other manner, and at such times, as the Attorney\n\nGeneral may prescribe, which may include notification via the\n\nInternet. The number or numbers of a consumer listed in the\n\nregistry shall be removed from the registry either by the consumer\n\ncalling a toll-free number provided by the Attorney General or upon\n\nwritten request by the consumer. The Attorney General shall\n\nimplement a procedure to verify a consumer request to be added or\n\nremoved from the registry. The Attorney General shall update the\n\nregistry not less than quarterly and shall make the registry\n\navailable to telemarketers by such means and for such fees as are\n\ndetermined by the Attorney General pursuant to the Administrative\n\nProcedures Act. The Attorney General is authorized to forward all\n\nconsumer requests to be included in the registry to the Federal\n\nTrade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, or any other\n\nagency of the federal government charged with the establishment and\n\nmaintenance of a nationwide registry of consumers who desire not to\n\nreceive unsolicited telemarketing sales calls or messages,\n\nincluding, but not limited to, a cellular telephone text message.\n\nExcept as otherwise provided in the Telemarketer Restriction Act,\n\nthe registry is privileged and confidential and not subject to the\n\nOklahoma Open Records Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b3c2fe53a9cc2fb9069c68b85d305b45462536ed3aa099dd7a3240f0f6b65dda","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-775b.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-775b.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
