Stat. tit. 15, § 15-775C.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Telephone Solicitation Act of 2022:\n\n1. \"Called party\" means a person who is the regular user of the\n\ntelephone number that receives a commercial telephonic sales call;\n\n2. \"Caller identification service\" means a service that allows\n\na telephone subscriber to have the telephone number and, where\n\navailable, the name of the calling party transmitted\n\ncontemporaneously with the telephone call and displayed on a device\n\nin or connected to the subscriber's telephone;\n\n3. \"Prior express written consent\" means a written agreement\n\nthat:\n\na. bears the signature of the called party,\n\nb. clearly authorizes the person making or allowing the\n\nplacement of a commercial telephonic sales call by\n\ntelephone call, text message, or voicemail\n\ntransmission to deliver or cause to be delivered to\n\nthe called party a commercial telephonic sales call\n\nusing an automated system for the selection or dialing\n\nof telephone numbers, the playing of a recorded\n\nmessage when a connection is completed to a number\n\ncalled, or the transmission of a prerecorded\n\nvoicemail,\n\nc. includes the telephone number to which the signatory\n\nauthorizes a commercial telephonic sales call to be\n\ndelivered, and\n\nd. includes a clear and conspicuous disclosure informing\n\nthe called party that:\n\n(1) by executing the agreement, the called party\n\nauthorizes the person making or allowing the\n\nplacement of a commercial telephonic sales call\n\nto deliver or cause to be delivered a commercial\n\ntelephonic sales call to the called party using\n\nan automated system for the selection or dialing\n\nof telephone numbers or the playing of a recorded\n\nmessage when a connection is completed to a\n\nnumber called, and\n\n(2) he or she is not required to sign the written\n\nagreement directly or indirectly or to agree to\n\nenter into such an agreement as a condition of\n\npurchasing any property, goods, or services; and\n\n4. \"Signature\" includes an electronic or digital signature, to\n\nthe extent that such form of signature is recognized as a valid\n\nsignature under applicable federal law or state contract law.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"481d1ed714f4a22081b10a87b892f01188643e5d12410b676f7eef59901c9c74","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-775c.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-775c.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
