A person may not make or knowingly allow a commercial\n\ntelephonic sales call to be made if such call involves an automated\n\nsystem for the selection or dialing of telephone numbers or the\n\nplaying of a recorded message when a connection is completed to a\n\nnumber called without the prior express written consent of the\n\ncalled party.\n\nB. It shall be unlawful for any person who makes a commercial\n\ntelephonic sales call or causes a commercial telephonic sales call\n\nto be made to fail to transmit or cause not to be transmitted the\n\noriginating telephone number and, when made available by the\n\ntelephone solicitor's carrier, the name of the telephone solicitor\n\nto any caller identification service in use by a recipient of a\n\ncommercial telephonic sales call. However, it is not a violation to\n\nsubstitute, for the name and telephone number used in or billed for\n\nmaking the call, the name of the seller on behalf of which a\n\ncommercial telephonic sales call is placed and the seller's customer\n\nservice telephone number, which is answered during regular business\n\nhours. If a telephone number is made available through a caller\n\nidentification service as a result of a commercial telephonic sales\n\ncall, the solicitor must ensure that telephone number is capable of\n\nreceiving telephone calls and must connect the original call\n\nrecipient, upon calling such number, to the telephone solicitor or\n\nto the seller on behalf of which a commercial telephonic sales call\n\nwas placed.\n\nC. It shall be unlawful for any person who makes a commercial\n\ntelephonic sales call or causes a commercial telephonic sales call\n\nto be made to intentionally alter the voice of the caller in an\n\nattempt to disguise or conceal the identity of the caller in order\n\nto defraud, confuse, or financially or otherwise injure the\n\nrecipient of a commercial telephonic sales call or in order to\n\nobtain personal information from the recipient of a commercial\n\ntelephonic sales call, which may be used in a fraudulent or unlawful\n\nmanner.\n\nD.
