Stat. tit. 15, § 15-776.9","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Anti-Phishing Act:\n\n1. \"Electronic mail\" means a message, file, or other\n\ninformation that is transmitted through a local, regional, or global\n\ncomputer network, regardless of whether the message, file, or other\n\ninformation is viewed, stored for retrieval at a later time,\n\nprinted, or filtered by a computer program that is designed or\n\nintended to filter or screen those items;\n\n2. \"Electronic mail address\" means a destination, commonly\n\nexpressed as a string of characters, to which electronic mail may be\n\nsent or delivered;\n\n3. \"Identifying information\" means information that alone or in\n\nconjunction with other information identifies an individual,\n\nincluding but not limited to:\n\na. name, social security number, date of birth, and\n\ngovernment-issued identification number,\n\nb. unique biometric data, including the fingerprint,\n\nvoice print, and retina or iris image of an\n\nindividual,\n\nc. unique electronic identification number, address, and\n\nrouting code, financial institution account number,\n\nand\n\nd. telecommunication identifying information or access\n\ndevice;\n\n4. \"Internet domain name\" refers to a globally unique,\n\nhierarchical reference to an Internet host or service, assigned\n\nthrough a centralized Internet naming authority and composed of a\n\nseries of character strings separated by periods with the right-most\n\nstring specifying the top of the hierarchy; and\n\n5. \"Web page\" means a location that has a single uniform\n\nresource locator (URL) with respect to the world wide web or another\n\nlocation that can be accessed on the Internet.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e9dedc9b51999a5d7f440653c580eeed22efaaf81ca2cbab6cb81096513365c5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-776.8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-777.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
