Stat. tit. 15, § 15-777.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Emergency Price Stabilization Act:\n\n1. \"Dwelling unit\" means any structure or part of a structure\n\nwhich is used as a home, residence, or sleeping place by one or more\n\npersons and includes, but is not limited to, lodging establishments,\n\nhotels, motels, boarding houses, inns, single-family residences,\n\nduplexes, and apartments;\n\n2. \"Emergency\" means any occasion or instance including, but\n\nnot limited to, any natural disaster such as a tornado, storm, high\n\nwater, earthquake, landslide, mudslide, snowstorm, or drought, and\n\nregardless of cause, any fire, flood, or explosion, determined by\n\nthe Governor of this state or by the President of the United States\n\nto require extraordinary measures to save lives, to protect\n\nproperty, or to promote public health and safety, or to lessen or\n\navert the threat of a catastrophe. \"Emergency\" includes a civil\n\ndefense or disaster emergency as defined by the Oklahoma Civil\n\nDefense and Emergency Resources Management Act of 1967 and any\n\nemergency or major disaster as defined by any federal disaster\n\nrelief act;\n\n3. \"Emergency area\" means the county or counties affected by an\n\nemergency, any county or part of a county specifically identified in\n\na declaration of emergency issued by the Governor of this state or\n\nby the President of the United States, and all counties contiguous\n\nwith the affected county;\n\n4. \"Goods\" means all things which are movable at the time of\n\nsale, rental, or lease other than the money with which the price is\n\nto be paid and includes any services which are incidental to the\n\nsale of the goods; and\n\n5. \"Services\" means any duty or labor to be rendered by one\n\nperson to another and includes any goods which are incidental to the\n\nperformance of the service. \"Services\" also includes, but is not\n\nlimited to:\n\na. the sale of utilities including, but not limited to,\n\nelectricity, natural gas, telecommunications, and\n\ncable television,\n\nb. the sale, rental, or lease of transportation, freight,\n\ncarriage, moving, and storage, and\n\nc. the rental or lease of vehicles, trailers, and other\n\nequipment.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0609c1e80203d28fce570a10882d0b784c4d8200ef078d9ba13ede47db23a5ac","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-777.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-777.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
