Stat. tit. 15, § 15-778","heading":"Military service member contracts - Termination,","body":"suspension, reinstatement.\n\nA. As used in this section, \"service member\" means:\n\n1. A member of the organized militia who is called into active\n\nservice of the state by the Governor for thirty (30) or more\n\nconsecutive days; or\n\n2. A member of the Armed Forces of the United States who is\n\ncalled into active federal service under Title 10 of the United\n\nStates Code.\n\nB. Except as provided in subsection G of this section, a\n\nservice member who has obtained the following services from a\n\ntelecommunications service provider, an Internet service provider, a\n\nhealth club, a health spa or a provider of television services may\n\nterminate or suspend the provision of services upon written notice\n\nand as provided in subsection C of this section:\n\n1. Telecommunications services, as defined in Section 139.102\n\nof Title 17 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n2. Internet Services;\n\n3. Health spa services, as defined in Section 2001 of Title 59\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n4. Exercise or athletic activities offered by a health club;\n\nand\n\n5. Television services, including but not limited to cable\n\ntelevision, direct satellite and other television-like services.\n\nC. The service member must provide proof to the service\n\nprovider of the official orders showing that the service member has\n\nbeen called into active service:\n\n1. At the time written notice is given; or\n\n2. If precluded by military necessity or circumstances that\n\nmake the provision of proof at the time of giving written notice\n\nunreasonable or impossible, within ninety (90) days after written\n\nnotice has been given.\n\nD. A termination or suspension of services under this section\n\nis effective on the day written notice is given under subsection C\n\nof this section.\n\nE. 1. A service member who terminates or suspends the\n\nprovision of services under this section and who is no longer in\n\nactive service may reinstate the provision of services on the same\n\nterms and conditions as originally agreed to with the service\n\nprovider before the termination or suspension upon written notice to\n\nthe provider that the service member is no longer in active service.\n\nWritten notice under this subsection must be given within ninety\n\n(90) days after termination of the service member's active service.\n\n2. Upon receipt of the written notice of reinstatement, the\n\nservice provider shall resume the provision of services or, if the\n\nservices are no longer available, provide substantially similar\n\nservices within a reasonable time not to exceed thirty (30) days\n\nfrom the date of receipt of the written notice of reinstatement.\n\nF. A service member who terminates, suspends or reinstates the\n\nprovision of services under this section:\n\n1. May not be charged a penalty, fee, loss of deposit or any\n\nother additional cost because of the termination, suspension or\n\nreinstatement; and\n\n2. Is not liable for payment for any services after the\n\neffective date of the termination or suspension, or until the\n\neffective date of a reinstatement of services as described in\n\nsubsection E of this section.\n\nG.
