Stat. tit. 15, § 15-799A.4","heading":"Disclosure of identity information high-volume sellers","body":"to consumers.\n\nA. An online marketplace shall:\n\n1. Require any high-volume third-party seller with an aggregate\n\ntotal of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) or more in annual\n\ngross revenues on such online marketplace, and that uses such online\n\nmarketplace's platform, to provide the information described in\n\nsubsection B of this section to the online marketplace; and\n\n2. Disclose the information described in subsection B of this\n\nsection to consumers in a conspicuous manner:\n\na. in the order confirmation message or other document or\n\ncommunication made to a consumer after a purchase is\n\nfinalized, and\n\nb. in the consumer's account transaction history.\n\nB. 1. Subject to paragraph 2 of this subsection, the identity\n\nof the high-volume third-party seller shall be disclosed including:\n\na. the full name of the seller, which may include the\n\nseller's name or seller's company name, or the name by\n\nwhich the seller or company operates on the online\n\nmarketplace,\n\nb. the physical address of the seller, and\n\nc. contact information for the seller, to allow for the\n\ndirect, unhindered communication with high-volume\n\nthird-party sellers by users of the online marketplace\n\nincluding:\n\n(1) a current working phone number,\n\n(2) a current working email address, or\n\n(3) other means of direct electronic messaging which\n\nmay be provided to the high-volume third-party\n\nseller by the online marketplace; and\n\n2. Whether the high-volume third-party seller used a different\n\nseller to supply the consumer product to the consumer upon purchase,\n\nand, upon the request of an authenticated purchaser, the information\n\ndescribed in paragraph 1 of this subsection relating to any such\n\nseller that supplied the consumer product to the purchaser, if such\n\nseller is different than the high-volume third-party seller listed\n\non the product listing prior to purchase.\n\nC. Subject to subsection D of this section, upon the request of\n\na high-volume third-party seller, an online marketplace may provide\n\nfor partial disclosure of the identity information required under\n\nparagraph 1 of subsection B of this section in the following\n\nsituations:\n\n1. If the high-volume third-party seller certifies to the\n\nonline marketplace that the seller does not have a business address\n\nand only has a residential street address, or has a combined\n\nbusiness and residential address, the online marketplace may:\n\na. disclose only the country and, if applicable, the\n\nstate in which the high-volume third-party seller\n\nresides, and\n\nb. inform consumers that there is no business address\n\navailable for the seller and that consumer inquiries\n\nshould be submitted to the seller by phone, email, or\n\nother means of electronic messaging provided to such\n\nseller by the online marketplace;\n\n2. If the high-volume third-party seller certifies to the\n\nonline marketplace that the seller is a business that has a physical\n\naddress for product returns, the online marketplace may disclose the\n\nseller's physical address for product returns; and\n\n3. If a high-volume third-party seller certifies to the online\n\nmarketplace that the seller does not have a phone number other than\n\na personal phone number, the online marketplace shall inform\n\nconsumers that there is no phone number available for the seller and\n\nthat consumer inquiries should be submitted to the seller's email\n\naddress or other means of electronic messaging provided to such\n\nseller by the online marketplace.\n\nD. If an online marketplace becomes aware that a high-volume\n\nthird-party seller has made a false representation to the online\n\nmarketplace in order to justify the provision of a partial\n\ndisclosure under subsection C of this section or that a high-volume\n\nthird-party seller who has requested and received a provision for a\n\npartial disclosure under subsection C of this section has not\n\nprovided responsive answers within a reasonable time frame to\nigh-volume\n\nthird-party seller has made a false representation to the online\n\nmarketplace in order to justify the provision of a partial\n\ndisclosure under subsection C of this section or that a high-volume\n\nthird-party seller who has requested and received a provision for a\n\npartial disclosure under subsection C of this section has not\n\nprovided responsive answers within a reasonable time frame to\n\nconsumer inquiries submitted to the seller by phone, email, or other\n\nmeans of electronic messaging provided to such seller by the online\n\nmarketplace, the online marketplace shall, after providing the\n\nseller with written or electronic notice and an opportunity to\n\nrespond not later than ten (10) calendar days after the issuance of\n\nsuch notice, suspend any future sales activity of such seller unless\n\nsuch seller consents to the disclosure of the identity information\n\nrequired under paragraph 1 of subsection B of this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 15"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os15.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a5462d6b000414b533cefc4e8b4b404ba18ed36d920a28454d525d3bebf2fcbb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-799a.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-15-15-799a.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
