If the Attorney General has reason to believe that any\n\nonline marketplace has violated or is violating this act or a\n\nregulation promulgated under this act that affects one or more\n\nresidents of this state, the Attorney General may bring a civil\n\naction in district court to:\n\n1. Enjoin further violation by the defendant;\n\n2. Enforce compliance with this act or such regulation;\n\n3. Obtain civil penalties in the amount set under regulations\n\npromulgated under this act;\n\n4. Obtain other remedies permitted under state law; or\n\n5. Obtain damages, restitution, or other compensation on behalf\n\nof residents of this state.\n\nB. For purposes of bringing a civil action under subsection A\n\nof this section, nothing in this act shall be construed to prevent\n\nthe Attorney General from exercising the powers conferred on the\n\nAttorney General by the laws of this state to conduct\n\ninvestigations, administer oaths or affirmations, or compel the\n\nattendance of witnesses or the production of documentary and other\n\nevidence.\n\nC.
