This act shall not apply to any contract relating to a\n\nsingle-, two-, three-, or four-family dwelling.\n\nB. The following are against this state’s public policy and are\n\nvoid and unenforceable:\n\n1. A provision, covenant, clause or understanding in,\n\ncollateral to or affecting a construction contract that makes the\n\ncontract subject to the laws of another state or that requires any\n\nlitigation, arbitration or other dispute resolution proceeding\n\narising from the contract to be conducted in another state; and\n\n2.
