Any person at least eighteen (18) years of age, being\n\notherwise qualified thereto, and all persons upon whom the rights of\n\nmajority have been conferred, and any legal entity, may own and\n\ntransfer real property. Provided, that any persons of whatsoever\n\nage, who have been legally married and who are otherwise qualified,\n\nmay own and transfer real property acquired after marriage.\n\nB. A transfer of real property may be made to, and title taken\n\nin, the name of a legal entity or of an office, in which case the\n\ntitle vests in the entity or the person from time to time holding\n\nthe office.\n\nC. As used in this section, \"entity\" or \"legal entity\" means a\n\ncorporation, government, governmental subdivision or agency,\n\nbusiness trust, estate, trust, partnership, limited liability\n\ncompany, joint venture, an unincorporated association formed for the\n\npurposes authorized by the Interlocal Cooperation Act in Section\n\n1003 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes or any other entity\n\notherwise authorized by statute to hold title to real property.\n\nD. Unless otherwise provided by statute, a defunct or dissolved\n\nentity continues in existence for the purpose of transferring real\n\nproperty.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 1140.
