Stat. tit. 16, § 16-37","heading":"Foreign acknowledgments legalized","body":"All deeds, mortgages, oil and gas leases, powers of attorney and\n\nother instruments of writing for the conveyance or encumbrance of\n\nany lands, tenements, or hereditaments situated within this state,\n\nheretofore executed and acknowledged or proved in any state,\n\nterritory, District of Columbia or country in conformity with the\n\nlaw of such state, territory, District of Columbia or country, shall\n\nbe as valid as if executed within this state in conformity with the\n\nprovisions of the laws of this state.
