Stat. tit. 16, § 16-54","heading":"Discriminatory restrictive covenants — Filling declaration","body":"for removal.\n\nA person who owns real property or an interest in real property\n\nfor which the title includes a recorded conveyance instrument\n\ncontaining an illegal discriminatory restrictive covenant pursuant\n\nto the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C., Section 3601 et seq., or another\n\nperson with the written and notarized permission of the owner, may\n\ndeclare that the discriminatory restrictive covenant is illegal and\n\nunenforceable and should be removed. The declaration shall be filed\n\nwith the clerk of the county where the property is located.\n\nAn illegal discriminatory restrictive covenant is not\n\nenforceable in this state, and all discriminatory restrictive\n\ncovenants contained in any real estate conveyance or instrument\n\nrecorded in this state are unlawful, are unenforceable, and are\n\ndeclared null and void.
