Stat. tit. 16, § 16-66","heading":"Purpose","body":"The Legislature deems that the needs of the society of this\n\nstate require that persons claiming interests in real estate\n\ncontrary to the apparent title as shown by the county records and\n\ndecrees and judgments of the county courts and courts of general\n\njurisdiction come forward and make public their claims and the basis\n\nthereof by filing of record a notice of such claim.
