Stat. tit. 16, § 16-86.3","heading":"Validity of electronic documents","body":"VALIDITY OF ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS.\n\n(a) If a law requires, as a condition for recording, that a\n\ndocument be an original, be on paper or another tangible medium, or\n\nbe in writing, the requirement is satisfied by an electronic\n\ndocument satisfying the Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording\n\nAct.\n\n(b) If a law requires, as a condition for recording, that a\n\ndocument be signed, the requirement is satisfied by an electronic\n\nsignature.\n\n(c) A requirement that a document or a signature associated\n\nwith a document be notarized, acknowledged, verified, witnessed, or\n\nmade under oath is satisfied if the electronic signature of the\n\nperson authorized to perform that act, and all other information\n\nrequired to be included, is attached to or logically associated with\n\nthe document or signature.
