Stat. tit. 17, § 17-116.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act, unless the context requires otherwise:\n\n(1) \"Commission\" means the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.\n\n(2) \"Common carrier by rail\" means a railroad company operating\n\nany part of its system within this state.\n\n(3) \"Motor vehicle\" means any vehicle which is self-propelled.\n\n(4) \"Owner\" means any person having the lawful use or control of\n\na motor vehicle as holder of the legal title of the motor vehicle or\n\nunder contract or lease or otherwise.\n\n(5) \"Place of employment\" means that location where one or more\n\nworkers are actually performing the labor incident to their\n\nemployment.\n\n(6) \"Worker\" means an individual employed for any period in any\n\nwork for which he is compensated, whether full or part time.","path":["OK Code","Title 17"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os17.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"62704b4ed9320ced73fcd8354c8da0c36609e4bfa5bf6496abb35ce6a42b8d15","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-115","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-116.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
