Stat. tit. 17, § 17-133","heading":"Grant or refusal of certificate - Protests","body":"The Commission shall have power to issue said certificate as prayed\n\nfor or to refuse to issue the same or to issue it for the\n\nconstruction, operation or acquisition of a portion only of the\n\ncontemplated territory. No certificate shall be issued until the\n\nexpiration of thirty (30) days from the date of the first\n\npublication of notice, nor shall any certificate be issued without\n\nhearing unless no protest is filed to the granting of the\n\ncertificate by any interested party within such thirty-day period.\n\nIn the event such protest is filed, then the Commission shall set\n\nthe matter for public hearing; however, in the event no protest is\n\nfiled the Commission may, at its discretion, forthwith issue the\n\ncertificate as prayed for or set the matter for public hearing on\n\nits own motion.","path":["OK Code","Title 17"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os17.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"26307b36a93d34ec12c2a34cd911c5c457f9928b784923f169d4d28561ecb927","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-132","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-134"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
