For the exercise of duties and performance of\n\nresponsibilities relating to telecommunications fraud pursuant to\n\nthe Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act, Section 751 et seq. of Title\n\n15 of the Oklahoma Statutes, and for representation in\n\ntelecommunications matters as established in Section 18b of Title 74\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes, the Attorney General shall receive Two\n\nHundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) per fiscal year to be\n\npaid from the Oklahoma Universal Service Fund established in Section\n\n6 of this act. For the 1998 fiscal year, the total amount of the\n\nmonies shall be paid to the Attorney General in one payment. For\n\neach fiscal year thereafter, the monies shall be paid to the\n\nAttorney General in equal monthly payments. All monies shall be\n\ndeposited in the Attorney General's Revolving Fund created pursuant\n\nto Section 20 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. In addition to any other duties prescribed by law or by\n\nCorporation Commission rules, the Commission, through its Consumer\n\nServices Division, shall mediate grievances between consumers and\n\ntelecommunications carriers and ensure compliance with quality of\n\nservice standards adopted for local exchange telecommunications\n\nservice providers and other telecommunications carriers which\n\noperate in this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 17"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os17.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3e6065046b34d43f57a2b30e81276c89a862165ec0e764ee12373d45ab06d254","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-139.103","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-139.105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
