Stat. tit. 17, § 17-158.22","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this act, the following terms shall have the\n\nmeanings given them:\n\n1. The term \"retail electric supplier\" means any person, firm,\n\ncorporation, association or cooperative corporation, exclusive of\n\nmunicipal corporations or beneficial trusts thereof, engaged in the\n\nfurnishing of retail electric service.\n\n2. The term \"certified territory\" shall mean the unincorporated\n\nareas as certified by and pursuant to Section 158.24 of this title.\n\n3. The term \"existing distribution line\" shall mean an electric\n\nline which on the effective date of this act\n\na. is located in an unincorporated area and\n\nb. is being or has been substantially used for retail\n\nelectric service.\n\n4. The term \"retail electric service\" means electric service\n\nfurnished to a consumer for ultimate consumption, but does not\n\ninclude wholesale electric energy furnished by an electric supplier\n\nto another electric supplier for resale.\n\n5. The term \"unincorporated area\" shall mean geographical area\n\noutside the corporate limits of cities and towns.\n\n6. The term \"electric consuming facilities\" means everything\n\nthat utilizes electric energy from a central station source.\n\n7. The term \"Commission\" shall mean \"Corporation Commission of\n\nOklahoma\" or its successor.\n\n8. The term \"association or cooperative corporation\" shall mean\n\nany association or cooperative corporation doing business under the\n\nRural Electric Cooperative Act.\n\n9. The term \"hearing\" shall mean a hearing by the Commission\n\npursuant to reasonable notice to all affected retail electric\n\nsuppliers.\n\n10.
