Stat. tit. 17, § 17-190","heading":"Addition of optical fiber to electric towers - Additional","body":"easement or license.\n\nThe addition of optical fiber as part of the static wire\n\nattached to electricity towers and appurtenant structures together\n\nwith all associated equipment for the transmission of communications\n\nand information services by optical fiber shall be considered a part\n\nof the transmission system and shall not constitute an additional\n\nburden on the land or require an additional easement or license;\n\nprovided, however, no additional poles or other structures are\n\ninstalled on the property; and provided further, no additional\n\npoles, structures, wires, cables, or other facilities may be placed\n\nexcept as provided by the existing easement; and provided further,\n\nno damage shall be permitted either within or outside of the\n\nexisting easement during the installation, repair, replacement, or\n\nmaintenance of the optical fiber line.\n\nCommunication services or information services provided over\n\nsuch facilities shall be solely for the internal use of the company\n\nor cooperative.
