Stat. tit. 17, § 17-346.1","heading":"Duty to inspect measuring devices","body":"It shall be the duty of the Corporation Commission Petroleum\n\nStorage Tank Division to inspect all measuring devices in this state\n\nfor the purpose of determining whether or not such measuring devices\n\ncomply with the tests, standards, specifications and rules of the\n\nCommission promulgated under authority of this act; and it shall be\n\nthe further duty of the Commission whenever it finds a measuring\n\ndevice which does not meet or comply with the tests, standards,\n\nspecifications or rules to immediately report the facts and\n\ncircumstances and place a seal or label on the measuring device,\n\nstating that the measuring device does not meet or comply with the\n\nrequired tests, standards, specifications or rules, and immediately\n\nto seal and lock the measuring device; provided, that the owner or\n\noperator thereof shall have the right to make application to the\n\nCommission for an order removing the sign, label, lock or seal,\n\nwhich application shall be heard by the Commission without\n\nunnecessary delay, and no notice of hearing shall be required.","path":["OK Code","Title 17"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os17.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"98c4027fee182548bbd66c8c35bfc2f58ffcf9e6cde0fe40f644bfa40e312cf7","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-346","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-346.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
