Stat. tit. 17, § 17-346.4","heading":"Noncompliance of measuring device – Tampering with sign,","body":"label, seal or lock – Violation of rule or order - Penalties.\n\nAny person who owns or has custody or control of any measuring\n\ndevice which does not meet or comply with the tests, standards,\n\nspecifications and rules of the Corporation Commission or any person\n\nwho tampers with, alters, defaces or destroys any sign, label, seal\n\nor lock mentioned in Section 346 of this title, without having first\n\nsecured an order permitting the removal of such sign, label, seal or\n\nlock, as provided in Section 346 of this title, or any person who\n\nviolates any rule or order of the Commission promulgated under\n\nauthority of this act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon\n\nconviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two\n\nHundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00), administrative penalties as set\n\nforth in Section 311 of this title, and/or punitive damages as set\n\nforth in Section 312 of this title; and each day on which any\n\nperson, firm or corporation violates any of such orders or rules\n\nshall be deemed a separate offense.
