Stat. tit. 17, § 17-801.3","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Energy Security Act:\n\n1. \"Commission\" means the Corporation Commission;\n\n2. \"Demand side management\" means the management of customer\n\nconsumption of electricity, or the demand for electricity, through\n\nthe implementation of:\n\na. load management or demand resource technologies,\n\nmanagement practices or other strategies in\n\nresidential, commercial, industrial, institutional or\n\ngovernment customers that shift electric loads from\n\nperiods of higher demand to periods of lower demand,\n\nor\n\nb. industrial by-product technologies consisting of the\n\nuse of a by-product from an industrial process,\n\nincluding the reuse of energy from exhaust gases or\n\nother manufacturing by-products that are used in the\n\ndirect production of electricity at the facility of a\n\ncustomer; and\n\n3. \"Energy efficiency\" means technologies, management practices\n\nor other strategies in residential, commercial, institutional, or\n\ngovernment customers that reduce electricity use by those consumers.","path":["OK Code","Title 17"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os17.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4c2eabfcf0c065bd9e4fce61b31dabebffada9ace16015ce45bc62c6e6515bb8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-801.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-801.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
