Stat. tit. 17, § 17-820.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Commercial Solar Facility Decommissioning Act:\n\n1. \"Generation assets\" means all assets associated with the\n\nproduction of electricity, including generation plants, electrical\n\ninterconnections of the generation plant to the transmission system,\n\nfuel contracts, fuel transportation contracts, water contracts,\n\nlands, surface or subsurface water rights, emissions-related\n\nallowances, and gas pipeline interconnections;\n\n2. \"Grantee\" means a person, other than an electric utility\n\nwho:\n\na. leases property from a landowner, and\n\nb. operates a solar power facility on the property;\n\n3. \"Solar energy device\" means a solar energy collector or\n\nsolar energy system that provides for the collection of solar energy\n\nor the subsequent use of that energy as thermal, mechanical, or\n\nelectrical energy;\n\n4. \"Solar power facility\" includes:\n\na. a solar energy device, and\n\nb. a facility or equipment, other than a facility or\n\nequipment owned by an electric utility, used to\n\nsupport the operation of a solar energy device,\n\nincluding an underground or aboveground electrical\n\ntransmission or communications line, an electric\n\ntransformer, a battery storage facility, an energy\n\nstorage facility, telecommunications equipment, a\n\nroad, a meteorological tower, or a maintenance yard;\n\nand\n\n5. \"Solar power facility agreement\" means a lease agreement\n\nbetween a grantee and a landowner that authorizes the grantee to\n\noperate a solar power facility on the leased property.","path":["OK Code","Title 17"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os17.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d544e61d81ba8bef419f91f696ff45cc779f4021aea982496c9a972b0fba70db","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-820","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-17-17-820.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
