Stat. tit. 18, § 18-1066","heading":"Voting, Inspection and Other Rights of Bondholders and","body":"Debenture Holders.\n\nVOTING, INSPECTION AND OTHER RIGHTS OF\n\nBONDHOLDERS AND DEBENTURE HOLDERS\n\nEvery corporation, in its certificate of incorporation, may\n\nconfer upon the holders of any bonds, debentures or other\n\nobligations issued or to be issued by the corporation the power to\n\nvote in respect to the corporate affairs and management of the\n\ncorporation to the extent and in the manner provided in the\n\ncertificate of incorporation, and may confer upon such holders of\n\nbonds, debentures or other obligations the same right of inspection\n\nof its books, accounts and other records, and also any other rights,\n\nwhich the shareholders of the corporation have or may have by reason\n\nof the provisions of the Oklahoma General Corporation Act or of its\n\ncertificate of incorporation. If the certificate of incorporation\n\nso provides, such holders of bonds, debentures or other obligations\n\nshall be deemed to be shareholders, and their bonds, debentures or\n\nother obligations shall be deemed to be shares of stock, for the\n\npurpose of any provision of the Oklahoma General Corporation Act\n\nwhich requires the vote of shareholders as a prerequisite to any\n\ncorporate action and the certificate of incorporation may divest the\n\nholders of capital stock, in whole or in part, of their right to\n\nvote on any corporate matter whatsoever, except as set forth in\n\nparagraph 2 of subsection B of Section 77 of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 18"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os18.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"86d2dc68383d7562889403702b67b8212f289cee0d9663632126a61ff583304b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-1065.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-18-18-1067"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
