Stat. tit. 18, § 18-1139","heading":"Reservation of Corporate Name","body":"RESERVATION OF CORPORATE NAME\n\nA. The exclusive right to the use of a corporate name, in good\n\nfaith, may be reserved by:\n\n1. Any person intending to form a corporation under Title 18 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes; or\n\n2. Any corporation organized under the laws of this state\n\nintending to change its name; or\n\n3. Any foreign corporation intending to qualify to transact\n\nbusiness in this state under Title 18 of the Oklahoma Statutes; or\n\n4. Any foreign corporation qualified to transact business in\n\nthis state intending to change its name; or\n\n5. Any person intending to organize a foreign corporation and\n\nintending to have such corporation qualified to transact business in\n\nthis state under the laws of this state; or\n\n6. Any corporation whose charter has expired or has been\n\nforfeited intending to renew or revive the corporation under Title\n\n18 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. Such reservation shall be made by filing in the Office of\n\nthe Secretary of State an application to reserve a specified\n\ncorporate name. If the Secretary of State finds that such name is\n\navailable for corporate use, he shall reserve the same for the\n\nexclusive use of such applicant for a period of sixty (60) days.\n\nC.
