Stat. tit. 18, § 18-381.46","heading":"Right to withdraw","body":"The holder of a deposit account in an association shall have the\n\nright to withdraw all or any part of the deposit account, subject to\n\nthe right of the association and authority of the State Banking\n\nCommissioner or the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision, to\n\nimpose limitations upon the right of withdrawal from a deposit\n\naccount for a fixed or minimum term with respect to which deposit\n\naccount the applicable fixed or minimum term has not expired. With\n\nrespect to deposit accounts which consist solely of funds in which\n\nthe entire beneficial interest is held by one or more individuals or\n\nby an organization which is operated primarily for religious,\n\nphilanthropic, charitable, educational, political, or other similar\n\npurposes and which is not operated for profit, and with respect to\n\ndeposits of public funds by an officer, employee or agent of the\n\nUnited States, any state, county, municipality, or political\n\nsubdivision thereof, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of\n\nPuerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, any territory or possession of\n\nthe United States, or any political subdivision thereof, such\n\ndeposit accounts may be subject to check or to transfer or\n\nwithdrawal on negotiable order or authorization to the association,\n\nand deposit account holders may make withdrawals or transfers from\n\nsuch accounts upon nontransferable order or authorization.
